written by sue townsend. one of the very few novels that i ever attempted to read. didnt really get to finish it though. nevertheless the idea floated in the novel seems quite appealing, where the royal family is evicted from their status and made to live like the rest.

now wouldnt it be nice for those self proclaimed queens to sink down to our level. its a whole new picture down here. or maybe things are in a certain way for a higher purpose.
